Today is Independence Day in the United States. But what do we do? We set off beautiful fireworks...hundreds of thousands of dollars worth (instead of feeding those in need). We set off these beautiful displays only to fill the air with extreme amounts of smoke (polluting our beautiful environment)!
Spend time with your beloved and make your own fireworks ;-) It is good for you and it is good for the environment.
"What about the kids?" you ask. Well, get some paper and paint fireworks or some other amazing artwork - kid style. Hang up these cool pieces of artwork and celebrate spending time together!
Celebrate life and the freedoms that we have in this country, but do not forget about our fellow travelers in this world who do not have the privileges we do.
