Silent Snow
Oh beautiful white drifting silently from the sky
I hear the thundering in my ears
I heard the roar against the silence
Ice crystals upon my cheeks
Softly caressing, head to my feet
Oh the bitter cold surrounding my bundled soul
I see many souls adrift upon the breeze
I heard the crunch, feet in the snow
No sounds came from beyond
Only silent blessings, God to my heart
Oh the warmth of my soul wrapped in your love
I feel the pain within my edges
I feel the warmth of life-giving blood
Breath filling me from below and above
Silently I breathe, Earth to my soul
